JEN ALVAREZ
My name is Jen & I am a home decor & lifestyle content creator. I started this passion project photographing & documenting our home renovations when we purchased our 2nd home in 2019. What started as an outlet & a way of sharing our new home with family friends turned into what Jen’s Gathering Nest is today.
My mission is to help you create the home you’ve always dreamed of, celebrate the little things - romanticize your life & live it to the fullest. I’ll teach you how to style your home like the ones you see in magazines - but on a budget, how to wow your guests with the best cocktails, surprise your kids with curated baskets for holidays & be the hostess with the mostest.

I’m a believer, wife to my very own Cuban version of Chip Gaines (who makes all of my DIY projects & furniture builds) & mama of 2 littles, living in sunny South Florida. I’m so happy you’re here & thank God everyday for blessing me with this platform & hope to inspire you.

I take my photos with my IPhone & edit them on Lightroom mobile & each one is custom edited using a filter I created.
All interior walls are Behr Marquee Polar Bear except for accent walls.
Our countertops are Calacatta Classique Quartz.
I prayed about it first & asked the Lord that if this is what He wanted me to do to give me a sign. I took the leap & started blogging in Late 2019 as a way of sharing my home remodel with friends & family + my kids & shortly after my page took off & I felt that was my sign. My passion of sharing all things home & family became my career & although I’ve never worked harder in my life, I truly feel blessed.
