I fell in love with a patio set not too long ago by Restoration Hardware and then my dream fell apart when I saw the price tag! 1300$ for one chair? Well that wasn’t going to work for our budget haha! I showed my husband and he immediately offered to make it for me. We searched online & found two great plans for the style we wanted so we combined both to make our own version.
Here is the inspiration for this whole project:
And here is how ours turned out:
we used the plans and measurements from this website: https://angelamariemade.com/diy-outdoor-chair/
If by any chance you are not able to order the cushions (they come in and out of stock weekly) then you can download her PDF which shows how to change the measurements for a different cushion: https://gumroad.com/l/outdoorchairplans
Also, we decided not to do the side slats on the sides of the chairs after seeing how House on LongWood Lane did theirs.
For the stain we did it the same as our outdoor table: Verathane Flagstone and we sealed it with a matte polyurethane sealer so that it can be protected outdoors.
I hope you guys make it & if you do, don’t forget to tag me on instagram @jensgatheringnest
xoxo, Jen
